The Monstrum Side Saddle Shell Holder is compatible with 500/590/Shockwave Series Model Shotguns of 12 Gauge. It keeps spare shotgun shells easily accessible with a Picatinny optic mount. Designed for Mossberg 500 and 590 Series shotguns, it can accommodate up to six 12-gauge shotgun shells. The ambidextrous design allows installation on either side of the stock. The shell holder is constructed from 6061 Aircraft Grade Aluminum and High Density Polyethylene, and the finish is Type-III Hard Anodization.

Comparatively, the Remington Side Saddle, Universal Side Saddle, and Stoeger Side Saddle are also available. Our shell holders are built for use with Mossberg 500, 590, and Shockwave Series shotgun models, and are not intended for use with other shotguns models. The shell holder is available in two sizes - 12 gauge saddle accommodating up to six 12 gauge shells and 20 gauge saddle accommodating up to seven 20 gauge shells. It installs into the factory mounting holes of Mossberg 500/590/and 590 Shockwave Series shotgun models with no additional gunsmithing required.
